Staggered Super-Sets – Performing 2 exercises from unrelated muscle groups back to back.
In this video, I explain what staggered super sets are and why you should try them out in your workouts:
For example a chest exercise supersetted with a quad exercise.
This is great to have very time efficient workouts or if you are unable to train more than a few days per week.
It is also a very good way to improve certain body parts that you feel are lagging. If you want to work your triceps more then you can throw them in for supersets with back or leg exercises.
One thing to keep in mind with these supersets is to not pair 2 exercises that use the same muscle groups. For example triceps are helper muscles for your pressing exercises for chest and shoulders. The same can be said for back and biceps. Make sure your 2 muscle groups are independent of each other.
