WellFit openly welcomes all our veterans and their families to exercise in our facilities.
You may be eligible for fully subsidised exercise programs through our exercise Physiologists if you have an assessed clinical need and hold a:
- Veteran Gold Card
- Veteran White Card and you have an accepted service-related condition.
- Have a chronic disease
- Are recovering from major injury or illness
Our exercise physiologists will provide you a treatment plan, including the number and frequency of services you require.
We will teach you the skills to manage your health conditions through a structured and supervised exercise program.

You will need a referral to an exercise physiologist from your:
- Treating doctor in hospital
- Hospital discharge planner

Avoid the crowds
Gyms in Newcastle can become very crowded, especially in peak times. In our private personal training studio, there are never more than a handful of fitness trainers running 1-on-1 sessions at a time. Even the group fitness sessions are limited to small numbers and there is usually no contracts.
