Should I Exercise When Getting A Cold? | Day #71 WellFit 365
Tips On Exercising With Cold Symptoms
It’s sometimes hard to have a break from exercise when you’re on a roll and feeling great. When getting a cold however, continuing to exercise can actually do you more harm than good.
A general rule with exercise and sickness is if your symptoms are above the neck (i.e. Runny nose), then exercising lightly is ok.
If below the neck (Chest infections, muscle soreness), then you should have a couple days of rest.
Regardless if you decide to exercise or not, it shouldn’t be intense.
