The benefits of reduced stress levels in the workplace are astronomical. Stress-free employees translates into a more happy, productive workplace.
Tips For Reducing Workplace Stress Levels
A workout in the middle of your day is a great way to feel great and reduce stress at work. Exercise as been proven to reduce stress and anxiety which can be 2 things that build up as your day goes on.
Look for opportunities during your lunch break. Walking or a nearby gym are great options. You may even organise a group of people from your work to do it with.
If the situation is there at the moment you may want to negotiate with your boss for 30mins longer break and then work back. When you hear of people that are doing this and think you can’t remember that in that circumstance someone once had to show initiative and make that happen.
It won’t happen if you don’t be pro-active. Ask the boss, give it a go! A wise boss will understand the benefits of reduced stress levels in the workplace. People who are less stressed have been PROVEN to be far more productive, happy and healthy.
