Decline Dumbell Presses | Day #60 WellFit 365
A Demonstration Of Decline Dumbell Presses
Decline dumbbell presses are a great exercise to build the chest. Out of all exercises for the pec muscles, the decline press stimulates the most amount of muscle activity and therefore should be a regular in your chest training.
Dumbbells allow for larger range of motion than when using a barbell and are also great for bringing in all of the stabilizing muscles in the shoulder and upper arm.
Lay bench back on a decline to just below flat. Lower dumbbells to armpit with control and then push up forcefully, breathing out through the concentric part of the lift. Keep shoulder blades squeezed back and the lats engaged. The chest cavity should stay expanded throughout the entire lift.
