Corn-Cob Pull Ups | Day #127 WellFit 365
Ive stated before that I’m a huge fan of the pull up exercise and all of its many variations. This one of those variations and its worth a try.
This is a great way to add some extra time under tension during your pull ups.
Start from full extension of arms as always and lift to the top part of the pull up. While in that position extend one arm out sideways and push your body along the length of the bar. Once you reach full extension of that arm, switch sides and move your body the length of the bar until the other arm is fully extended sideways.
It should look like your face is sliding along the length of the bar, just like when you eat corn off the cob. Hence the awesome name!
These are more challenging than regular pull ups so your rep number will be down but time under tension should be greater
