The Chunking Exercises Technique
In Day 2 of the WellFit 365 Daily Video Series, Brendon talks about the concept of ‘chunking’ your exercise sessions.
Chunking exercises is the technique of taking a longer task, such as an hour-long training session, then cutting it down to make it seem more achievable to fit into your busy day.
Brendon gives the example of how it is common to wake up 15 minutes late and think you don’t have enough time for your 1 hour gym session. Chunking exercises can help in this scenario, because if you get up and go for a 20 or 30 minute training session, then at least then you have made some progress.
Where to start with chunking exercises?
Even 20 minutes a couple of times a week is often enough to start to boost your metabolic rate and start to burn fat.
This technique can help you get into the routine of exercising. Making exercise a habit is essential for permanent body success.
