How to wake up with more energy
Today I discuss ways to increase energy starting with a good nights rest.
In this video, I explain 5 ways to wake up with more energy, because it’s hard to be motivated for body success when you have lack of energy! These 5 tips for waking up with more energy are all centred around the importance of getting a good night’s deep sleep.

My 5 energy boosting tips today are:
1) Regular Sleeping Patterns – Find out what is right for you in terms of length of sleep. Each person is different in this regard. Just make sure you’re getting a consistent am0unt of sleep each night.
2) No Sugars. Sugars release stress hormones that block your sleep patterns.
3) No Red Wine. You may feel that red wine helps you get to sleep quicker, however it actually contains amino acids that prevent you from going into that deep sleep you need for optimum energy the next day.
4) Prepare for bed earlier.
5) No TV. Especially close to sleep time, TV stimulates your brain and wastes time that could be used for more sleep!
Some of these ways to wake up with more energy will be tough to implement, but if you want that energy a few sacrifices need to be made. Again, it’s all about creating healthy habits and kicking those habits that are holding you back from your goals.
